The best routes and spots for road cyclists in Mallorca

Mallorca is undoubtedly one of the hottest destinations for cyclists in Europe and across the globe, and Pollença, a charming town in the Serra de Tramuntana, should be at the top of your list as your base to explore the island. And if you've already experienced its wonders, it's likely that Pollença has become one of your go-to annual escapes. We also stayed in Soller and it’s definitely worth considering it at least for a visit.

Whether it's road cycling, gravel riding, or mountain biking, Mallorca offers amazing routes for all disciplines. The northern part of the island revolves around cycling, with cyclists constantly coming and going. Bike shops, rentals, tours, and coffee shops can be found on nearly every corner. Mallorca truly has everything a cycling aficionado needs.

Road Bike Rental

If you need to rent a road bike during your stay in Mallorca, there are a few good options available to you. There are several local bike shops that offer rental bikes, as well as a number of online retailers that ship bikes to your hotel.

Pollença:

  1. Bequi Sport Alcudia - They have shops in Alcudia and Palma de Mallorca. They saved my day when I encountered the unpleasant surprise of my electronic shifter refusing to work! Tomeu quickly prepared a fantastic Willier for me, and the price was excellent.

  2. Ultimate Bike Hire - Is the only rental in Pollença but have a great selection of bikes to rent.

Soller:

Quilòmetre Zero In the center of Soller and run by super friendly french brothers will get you on some high quality bikes in no time! I really had a blast doing Sa Calobra with the Colnago I rented.
