Road cycling route Lugano - Brusimpiano - Ghirla - Brusino Arsizio

This road cycling route takes you around the west part of the Lugano Lake and it combines some nice lakeside roads and three challenging climbs totalling over 1700m of elevation gain. Is a popular road for weekend cyclist and the roads are not very busy.

There are multiple variation you can do to keep it shorter and with less elevation, for example you can follow the lakeside after Brusimpiano to avoid two of the climbs.

Along the road you can stop in several towns to grab a nice espresso and have a bite. We usually stop at Porto Ceresio where you have nice sunny terraces.
