Where to stop for a break

Zurich is a beautiful city with beautiful surroundings and your bike is the best way to explore it. It’s the perfect way to spend a day in the saddle, taking in some of Switzerland’s best scenery.

Zug, has great restaurants and coffee shops to refuel. The best area is the old town by the lake. We recommend a nice coffe shop called Koffee Fresh. 

Lake Ägeri, the highlight of this route deserves a stop on the lake side. Enjoy the scenery and refresh a bit before headinh to the next and last hilly sectino of the route. We recommend Studenhütte Seebeizli, is just on the lake side and has a great beer garden.

Etzell Pass on the way back has a great restaurant and terrasse: Gasthaus St. Meinrad 

Each of these spots offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. And they’re all located within easy reach of the main road. So you won’t have to stray far from your route to find them.
